Great fitness routines, I’ve decided, make you forget that you’re working out. When I was in college, daily walking a mile or more to and from classes, I was in pretty good shape. When I started working, I missed being outdoors so much that the first thing I’d do when I got home was grab my bike.
I’m not a big fan of loud aerobics or group fitness classes, although I do take yoga. Working out at home, in front of a DVD, has never worked for me. Nor have treadmills or bike machines.
I need to be outdoors. Walking, biking, roller blading, it all helps.
